⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Ovation Caribbean Restaurant in Lawrenceville is absolutely amazing! I had the brown stew chicken (bone-in) with rice and peas and cabbage, and everything was cooked to perfection. The chicken was tender, flavorful, and seasoned just right, the rice and peas were rich and authentic, and the cabbage was fresh and delicious. You can really taste the love and Caribbean flavor in every bite. Definitely one of the best Caribbean meals I’ve had in the area. I’ll be back for sure!

Other reviews almost scared me away, but I’m glad I went for myself. I had a WONDERFUL experience getting food. The attendant was welcoming, helpful, and informative. Also funny! I got the stewed chicken and boy, the way she loaded up my plate, I was salivating in the store. I was SHOCKED the total was only $13. Do you see all that food?!?? Talk about worth every penny! Thank you ovations. The food was DELICIOUS. DELICIOUS!!!

Anthony was absolutely amazing. The food was top notch. I can’t wait to come back. Fridays is 2 for one fish. The snapper was the best I have ever had. The environment was soothing and welcoming. The staff was so pleasant and friendly. 10 out of 10. Kids meals are so affordable and so good as well.

This Jamaican Restaurant is the BEST in Lawrenceville hands down. The oxtail taste the right way its supposed to. The meat is cooked properly, seasoned properly and the rice and peas and cabbage all are perfectly authentic Jamaican flavors. 10/10 overall. I had a taste for oxtail, peas and rice and this place provided for that craving! Go check them out, its so good!

I’ve always liked this place. I visited recently after a long hiatus, and was still pleased. I bought the jerk ribs dinner. The ribs were seasoned well and veryyy tender. The rice was good, but just a hint too salty. The mango lemonade was yummmmmy. Jamaican restaurants are expensive overall, but at least the food was good. The staff was very polite and patient while we decided on what we wanted to eat.

The food was ok. I had the snapper, rice and peas and cabbage. Snapper was cooked well but the sauce was light (escovitch). The price was different than what's listed. The place looked clean and the staff were very pleasant. If I'm that way again, I'll try something else.

This place is the bomb! I love this place so much that I go around 2-3 times a week, my favorite are the lunch specials. A great value for around 10 bucks, the Jerk Chicken one is my favorite. The service is great and the employees are so nice, and they remember my order at the point where I don't even have to say anything when I walk in anymore :) I recommend this place, best Caribbean food in the area.

Been looking for a good Caribbean spot for a while and finally found one. Everyone was friendly and the food portions were very generous. We ordered the Jerk Ribs….yes you read that right. JERK RIBS!! They were absolutely delicious! Everything was on point. Never had authentic Caribbean cuisine before but this was the perfect experience for a first timer. Along with the ribs you get rice and peas with your choice of gravy, cabbage and plantains. We also ordered bread pudding and black cake. Everything was *chefs kiss*.
